The new U of L helmet

pretty well just what I described that I’d like. It’s got the modern bird on a red and black striped helmet and sticks with the traditional white face mask. Excellent.

This will certainly mean a more traditional turn in uniforms as well. Whatever gets rid of the boxy shoulder stripes…

Liked the old helmets with the red stripe tapering with black outlines, but not the inverse that we had in a few games last year. Also hope that the box like shoulder design goes away, along with “The Ville.”

Because I just had that abomination posted earlier sitting in the back of my mind. I’ve heard tradition gets respect in football.
