Patrick pleads guilty to harassment, expects to remain on football team
Facing a fourth-degree misdemeanor assault charge stemming from a June 27 incident with his girlfriend, U of L senior cornerback Johnny Patrick pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of harassment with physical contact on Wednesday.
Patrick told The Courier-Journal - which is waiting for a comment from Charlie Strong - that he expects to remain on as a member of the football team.

Patrick has an active streak of 26 straight starts and is listed first at corner on the current U of L depth chart. As a result of his plea this morning he will enter into a diversion program and be subject to counseling.

I think I am a bad person.
When I saw the words “harassment with physical contact” used in reference to the Cardinal secondary, it made me excited.
Hopefully a good life lesson learned by a young man.

In all seriousness, it will be interesting what CCS does with him
Respect for women being one of Charlie’s watchwords, he has to show he is serious about it. Not saying what the consequences should be, but there have to be consequences or Coach loses credibility.
