Cantwell climbs the charts

Our main man Hunter Cantwell has moved to #2 spot on the Carolina Panthers depth chart. Presumably ahead of rookies Tony Pike and Jiminy Cricket, er, Clausen.

The no. 2 spot on the panthers depth chart makes Cantwell almost a guaranteed starter at some point this season unless Moore just goes nuts, or Hunter gets punched in the head by Steve Smith

Sadly, Cantwell's fantasy value is still nil. I'll be drafting him anyway.

(QB tutor) Whitfield referred to Cantwell having "rare arm talent," saying that among current NFL quarterbacks, only Chicago's Jay Cutler and former Oakland Raider JaMarcus Russell were comparable. But what impressed him most was Cantwell's dedication and work ethic.

I'm gonna say it

Just about every article shows how inept the previous staff was.

Also, did you see Cantwell’s photo? It looks like he’s more of a skeleton now… i guess his last few frog giggin’ and fish wormin’ trips haven’t been successful. Anyway, congrats to Hunter, and I hope to see him on the field in a few games.

I don't think there's a much better indication of Kragthorpe's ineptitude.

The guy went from Mel Kiper’s top backup QB in the country and a project first round pick, to an absolute mess and head-scratcher under Krag and his system, back to a solid NFL QB prospect with “rare arm talent” once he’s away from Krag’s vortex of shame and incompetence.

I hope it works out well for Cantwell I always liked him. He who shall not be mentioned, so glad that is history now. Cantwell does have a crowded depth chart. Hopefully they stick Pike on the practice squad, as I think right now Hunter can hold off Clausen.

They gone have to stop sleeping on me one day.. I gotta be one of the best
