wow.
charlie sees the lack in talent on defense for us in and two straight weekends he’s grabbed a 4 star and 5 star to start immediately in very important positions. this is great news.

i would revise that caption
technically, he doesn’t knock the guy off his feet.
he sweeps in for a light push/hit. and just happens to catch QB at the pinnacle of rising to one foot’s toes as a part of his throw. his push/hit continued the motion and added backward direction.
that said, welcome to Louavull Jordan!
With all the news about strong recruits (no pun intended)
I’m a little confused with some of the comments I’ve read about this year’s team being “one of the weakest squads we’ve had in a long time.” Granted I don’t follow football quite as diligently as I do basketball, but with all these 4 and 5 star athletes coming in this year one would think this team would smash any lineup that Kragthorpe had out there (save for his first year when he had over half an Orange Bowl Championship team. A retarded monkey could’ve coached those guys to another bowl appearance).

It takes a LOT of players to make a team
As basketball fans, we’re used to thinking of 4 or 5 good players as a lot, and it is. In football it’s a drop in the bucket. You need 40 or 50 good players.
I guess I don't see how this year's could be any worse than last year's
Bringing back a lot of the boys from last season, plus adding all that extra muscle and talent. The type of players unseen since the Petrino days. Seems like it should at least be a stronger team than last year. But, if not — hopefully Strong is the type of coach who gets more out of players than they ever knew they had. I love guys who can coach kids to over-achieve.

I think it will be better than last year
It’s just that He who shall not be named left the cupboard so bare, it’s going to take a while to get it stocked up again.
As I’ve said before, I think this year’s team will exceed expectations.
I agree.
I would wager a bowl game isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. The OOC schedule is pretty soft and the Big East probably won’t be as strong with Kelly out of Cinci and WV not quite up to par. Should be able to pull off 3 or 4 conference wins at least.
I’m just hoping we stomp Kentucky and Syracuse. Erase this alternate dimension we’ve wandered into where we can’t toy with these teams like we used to.

You are being too hard
I am sure Kragrhorpe could have recruited some good players if we had given him more time. Like 30 or 40 years. Maybe. Possibly. Perhaps. OK, probably not.
Eh
It’s still a part of his life. Although, it would be funny to get a huge PENALIZED (or something similar) tattooed over it like a stamp.
A little pretty for D
I like my Defensive players big, ugly, and with felony record. A guy trying to get his life on track with something to prove. Somebody secretly angry at the world with one thing on his mind…. win. Hope this guy works out.

Right now, Charlie Strong and Rick Pitino are the yin and yang of coaching. Strong just keeps dealing aces while Pitino is looking for leftovers. It’s amazing how quickly Strong has turned around the entire perception of Louisville football. I knew he was a talented coach, but I really thought it would be a strech for him to make such an immediate impact.
You have been around too many UK fans, you should know that you prove yourself IN GAMES!

Pitino is UK's Leftovers!
Why shouldn’t Pitino look for leftovers? University of Louisville advocates that! They couldn’t beat UK basketball so what do they do? Go & get their left overs(Pitino) lol who does that? Go & Get your arch rival to coach your team? Smh

Other tweets of interest from Mr. Campbell:
1) “what the hell do people where [sic] in louisville?”
2) “it feels so dang nasty out side”
3) “the girls are thick as hell though lol sure aint usc girls..”
and my personal favorite:
4) “the kentucky derby was poppin so many bad ass white chicks lol i’m in it 2 win it”
Well then… welcome to Louisville?
It is nasty outside
and yes, our women do not come close to comparing to USC girls.
Surely he wasn’t here for the derby?
I bet he went to night racing
Which would be a pretty good recruiting tool.

I think, and emphasis on think
that we’re also in the mix with a CB friend of Campbell’s who actually started last year. He was a 5*. But I could be just completely making that up in my head, so don’t quote me there.
