Around SBN: Why Hockey Fans Should Root For Devils Vs. Kings

There were whispers about this from the moment he decommitted from U of L.

Our baseball team is so good.

Any kid with talent who wants

quick exposure to showcase individual skills so they can be one and done to then enter the NBA for the hope of a guaranteed contract as a lottery pick….

Once again...

1.8 GPA. In high school. A prep high school. Just for people who want to play sports and become eligible.

Derrick Rose wasn’t even that bad and he still couldn’t take his own SAT. If this kid is even eligible, Cal can have him at this point. He might be able to get UK below that awesome 2.0 barrier.

He's going to the right place

We’d have never gotten him eligible here. Where’s the odds on which state he passes his SAT in?

Let em have him....I dont think this is a bad loss

I’ve seen him play and was not impressed….He rarely played above the rim and didn’t look aggressive on the boards…He ran the floor well and had a decent arsenal of post moves on the offensive end but for the most part he wasn’t that force inside wee been needing. .To be honest I think he would have been a carbon copy of Samardo… With the pick up of G-Dieng his de-committment means nothing. I was more impressed by Ryan Taylor ( Chandlers teammate and Louisville Commit ). he’s an athletic wing that should come in and get minutes at the 2 or 3 right away…. He flew under the radar for a while but the new scouts ranking bumped him ftom a 3 star up to 4 star….

Yep, go cats...

Another quick lineup of one-and-done’s to lead you to an upset exit from the tourney. You guys must love that.

he should fit right in with his 1.8 GPA... being that academics no longer matter at "ONE and DONE Ubiversity"

You know its funny how the tables are going to turn on Calipari if the national championships and banners in the rafters dont start coming…A 30 win season looked good for you kitten fans this year after coming off an NIT…but it won’t look as good a few years from now if a banner isn’t hung…Be honest with yourself….you know this is true…Nothing else matters a uk except championships and yes he’s recruiting at a rate never seen before in college basketball but the bottom line is he better start hanging banners behind those 30 win seasons

We weren't sayin these things because we didn't know.

Everybody found out about his GPA at the same time that he decommitted, which is likely why he decommitted in the first place. Pitino probably didn’t want to deal with that kind of stuff, especially considering his hype has slowed down a lot lately with a lot of recruiting analysts saying he seems to be lacking motivation and effort.

the Big East doesn’t allow partial qualifiers either… the SEC does… if you can’t cut it in the beginning, there’s no becoming eligible in January…

Oh, also...

Exclamation points on every sentence? Seriously? C’mon man.

Shouldn't you be busy deluding yourself

into believing that your slimy coach and overhyped freshmen thugs with no leadership ability are actually going to accomplish anything? Oh, wait, your already doing that. My bad. And you’re right. No way a Calipari player would ever do anything violent or illegal. Well, you know, except Bledsoe, Cousins, Tyreke Evans, Shawne Williams, Sean Banks, Derrick Rose, John Wall, etc. etc. etc. Your still a bunch of thugs, moron. You sold your soul for the scum that is on your court, don’t pretend like this is anything remotely close to what your players have done and will continue to do.
