Charlie Strong speaks at Cardinal Caravan
I don't have very much money, and yet today I bought football season tickets for the first time in my life.
This is the reason:
That right there is the final shove a man needs before leaping.
Big thanks to Michael McCammon for recording and uploading his balls off.

I'm thinking about
buying season tickets and I know I can’t go to any of the games there. That’s the power of Strong.
Buying my balls off?

Anticipating my balls off
I got an Express Mail envelope yesterday and thought it might be my football season tickets… I was pumped, anticipating my balls off about where I would be exactly in the expanded upper deck. I was also thinking about how awesome it’s going to be in the new expansion cheering next to my brother and the re-energized fan base.
…and then I saw the “Express mail” envelope was one of those damn “Refinance your VA loan now before it’s too late” letters. Damn you, fake express VA letters. I’m not refinancing my balls off to go from a fixed APR to a variable APR (which shoots up after the first 3 months… noted in the tiny print). Someone needs to Terry Tate their ass.
They said today
They won’t print them until about three weeks before the season.
Sad face.

Mike.....I hear ya brother
Not much disposable income at this house…..but for the first of many years, I will hold two tickets in my name, and it is 1,000% a result of (a) Charlie Strong (b) No mor Kragpoop
They will need to play their balls off.
I put together an eligibility chart and noticed something. As it is right now, there will be 109 players on the team in the fall if no one grey shirts (unlikely because at my count we currently have 15 walk-ons putting us 9 over the scholarship limit). Of those 109, 43 are either true or red shirt freshmen. That’s a young team. I think we’ll see some guys go to JuCos or grey shirt.

I'm a Cards Fan
in Texas. I know, my screen name here is cryptic so there’s no way you’d have known that just by looking. Anyway, the last time I owned season tickets was during the Coop years. And I was still in Louisville then, so I actually used them. But CS has me so pumped up I just might spring for a season’s worth and let one of my relatives still living there use them. I don’t think I’ll be able to get back home this Fall for any home games, but I’m so fired up for the CS Era that I can’t hardly stand it. I feel like buying tickets will be the next best thing to being there – and I firmly believe that you vote with your wallet! DAMNIT, WHY MUST IT ONLY BE MAY???? C’mon August!
If you're going to use them, great.
But if to don’t have anyone to give them to and you won’t be able to be there, it would probably be better to pass up a ticket purchase an let someone buy them who will actually be able to attend the games and cheer.

If I was closer...
I’d join the season ticket holder bandwagon too!
