Seriously though, I think this is awesome and has me hyped for next season to begin.

According to CL Brown's Twitter, Pitino also said that Samardo will go pro at the end of next year.  The press conference video replay is not up yet on cj.com but we will embed when it is. 

Lost in the all the 2011 recruiting hype and rumor factory is that the 2010-2011 Cardinals will be a fun team to watch, lots of pieces and hopefully lots of improvement out of our young players.  Also, Preston! will be counted on to provide senior leadership. 

Now that we've had a few weeks to stabilize after the roller coaster (and throw up after getting on and off the Recruit-Tilt-A-Whirl) I'm beginning to get excited about basketball way earlier than last year, with the crushing disappointment and Pitino-personal distractions
