U of L Sports Administration Golf Scramble

Just got this email from JENNY WITTENAUER who would love it if you played some golf because she told you to so she can make some dough...and for some other reasons.

I'm a reader of the blog and thought this event might be right up the alley for some of your readers. I'm a graduate student at UofL in the Sports Administration program and we are preparing to host our 13th annual Golf Scramble on April 12th. I wanted to pass along some of the information to you in hopes you might be willing to let your readers know about it.

What: 13th Annual SPAD Classic Golf Scramble
Where: The Cardinal Club GC
When: April 12th, shotgun start at 11:00 AM
Why: Money raised will go towards the Sports Administration scholarship fund. This supports new students as well as current students in attending conferences and conventions, as well as providing for resources to support current and former students. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the local Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Louisville.

The event will also include a silent auction with all sorts of great items - an autographed Charlie Strong football, Rick Pitino basketball, Dan McDonald baseball, Jeff Walz basketball, tickets to the UofL-Cincinnati football game for this upcoming season, as well as plenty of other great items like rounds of golf at some of the best courses in the area, passes for many local attractions and events, and other great items of interest.

Further information can be found at www.spadclassic.com as well as registration forms for teams if folks are interested. All I would ask is if the could put in my name as the person who referred them when they do register (I get extra credit in class for each player I bring in!).
