OK, OK, It's my fault + plus seeding prediction
Wore the gray cardinals shirt last night. I wore it when we lost to Marquette too. All my other shirts were in the laundry. I knew it when I put it on. My fault, won't happen again.
also - anyone starting to rethink their position that the time of the games has nothing to do with their performance? I swear we suck after the sun goes down. We get exactly one good half and that's it.
either way we're still in the dance. And now we are squarely on a 9 seed. Or 8, it doesn't matter which. We'll probably get Duke in the second assuming they get a 1 seed. I can't imagine they'll put us with Syracuse, or KU. Gotta be a lower 8,9 out there who'll pick up the top seeds. They could put us with UK to be hilarious. Naturally I'd like to avoid a 1 seed as long as possible, we all would. But the fact is we play our best against top competition so maybe we'll be better served. I don't know how we'll fare against Duke, they are good all over the floor. But we'll be finding out. And if we can knock off a 1 seed then who knows. Oh well, it could be worse - my brother flew to NY with BET tickets this morning, talk about bad timing. He did the same thing two years ago when we got bounced early. I feel bad for the guy.

I got no problem playing 'Cuse or Duke
but I want no part of Kansas or Kentucky
Kansas would destroy us.
But Louisville could beat any other team in the country.

I blame myself
Every time I don’t set aside the time to watch the game in the comfort of my own apartment, we lose.
Last night, because I’m home for spring break, I missed the first 8 minutes of the game, watched the last 12 minutes of the first half at my fiancee’s parents’ house, and then watched the last 19 minutes at my parents’ house.
For the Marquette game, I missed the first ten minutes because I was out celebrating a friend’s birthday, then got home, realized it was on ESPNU, justin.tv’d it and was mad the entire game because the feed was choppy and picture was shitty (and they were getting killed).
Let’s hope the next one is on a channel I get at a time when I can be home to enjoy it. I’ll skip my classes if it’s for the good of the team.

Would be shocked if we get the 8/9 game
And as we’ve talked about a million times, if we can manage to win the first one, being a 10 or 11 is a lot better. I agree that we’re in, Andy Glockner, unfortunately, is not so sure.
Wake just got killed
that helps us

it never occured to me that
we’d drop to a 10-11, but that’s actually better for us.
I think we’re better off playing strong opponents.

Not sure exactly whats up with some of the stuff I've been reading
How people predict our style would give Duke problems. I’m assuming they’re talking about them defending us. Because with their long range sharpshooters and our love for the 2-3 zone (and our apparent inability to play effective man) — I just don’t see a dance with Duke ending well for us. I’d rather play ‘Cuse or get another crack at Kentucky. What a story it would be if UK’s mission ended with a loss to Louisville. Lol, it’d be hilarious.

Duke would likely be a bad matchup for Louisville
on both sides of the ball.

I agree
It’s hard to find a flaw in Duke’s game. And you know they have to be itching to get beyond the 2nd round. So maybe we’ll get lucky and fall to a 10. Who knows. I’m trying not to be too disappointed considering a few weeks ago we were on the wrong side of the bubble.
But yeah, Duke is a tough out this year.
