What to watch: 2/9/10
Tennessee at Vanderbilt (7 p.m./ESPN)
Rivalry week.
Georgetown at Providence (7 p.m./ESPN2)
Rivalry week?
VCU at George Mason (7 p.m./ESPNU)
Mason's lost two straight for the first time since December, but they've also won 17 straight CAA home games.
Illinois at Wisconsin (7 p.m./Big Ten Network)
Wisconsin has only lost five Big Ten home games during the Bo Ryan era. Seriously, that's ridiculous.
Texas Tech at Oklahoma (8 p.m./MASN)
Tech won the first meeting between the two by ten.
Purdue at Michigan State (9 p.m./ESPN)
Regardless of what anyone says, this game loses a lot of its luster if Kalin Lucas doesn't play.
Alabama at Kentucky (9 p.m./ESPNU)
I will not be rooting for the home team.
Colorado State at Air Force (10 p.m./The Mountain)
I have no idea whether or not this game is even semi-meaningful.

If Prov beats Gtown, would it be (a) good b/c our win over Prov looks better, or (b) bad b/c the Big East Bubble becomes more crowded?
I think the answer to that question depends on how many more league games we win.

I don’t think Georgetown would fall enough to matter to us and Providence is 4-7 and 12-11.
Obviously we need to beat St. Johns and Depaul, but I also think if we beat ND, Marquette and Conn. we get in. That would give us 20 wins 11 conference wins. 7-3 over our last 10. I think that would be good enough even if we don’t beat one of the top teams in the conference.
Long story short I think it would be good, if they can do more the rest of the season, right now I don’t think they will be able to do enough to be considered much of a quality win. The best outcome would be that G’town wins and then we beat G’town.

I agree with 20 wins 11 big east
But I don’t want an empty resume with no good wins. Our best win is south flipping florida. I want to rest easy on selection sunday.

Tourny
Isn’t it kind of funny (sad) that we either make the tournament as a 9/10 seed or not at all? No mention of being a 13 or 14 seed…

Need to read the latest bracketology before I post
Now we’re a 12 seed. Even so…

Seems like in all the recent Big East games I've watched
The home team has had a BIG advantage in fouls and FTs.
Of Course Wisconsin Loses To Illinois At Home
Why? Badger fans should look no further than the ‘What To Watch’ curse.

Kentucky defeats another run-of-the-mill SEC team
Further setting up the humor in the big BUST waiting for them in the March Dance.
