If I hadn’t read the first couple paragraphs of the story, I’d still be assuming he signed with Kansas State. But Kentucky State? Ok….

We have Anderson, Ashley, and a load of new talent at the running back position. But I don’t really get why. He left a BCS school to go to a D2 school (couldn’t he get an offer from at least a mid major?) and it seems to be for immediate playing time, but then he says that he’s going to redshirt his first season anyway.

I don’t get it, but I guess I don’t really have to. Good luck to him.

and I feel bad for him because he probably doesn’t know any better. How Louisville’s coaching squad would help him develop is alone enough of a reason to come here. He won’t get the same at a D2 school.

Could he plausibly play at Ky State one season during what would’ve been his “redshirt” year and then transfer to Louisville?

Maybe he just wants to be a big fish in a small pond. Decent BCS player = D2 superstar?
