Michaelee Harris sticks with Louisville

Despite numerous reports claiming he would follow Miami Northwestern teammate Torrian Wilson to Central Florida, four-star wide receiver Michaelee Harris has signed with Louisville.

Michaelee Harris and Corvin Lamb of Miami Northwestern have both committed to the University of Louisville and the Cardinals new coach Charlie Strong

Though he stands just six-feet tall, Harris is billed as an elite route-runner with surprisingly long arms and phenomenal hands. Scout.com says he is the 31st best receiver in the country.

Despite stating before the season that Miami, which offered him a scholarship, was his dream school, Harris committed to Charlie Strong and Louisville on Dec. 29.

With all due respect to Dominique Brown, this is my favorite player in the class and I'm thrilled he's still on board.

Good to hear

I feel like despite the loses today, the beast that is Charlie Strong, will be able to do a lot with what we get this year. Petrino had that same quality and I believe that is something Strong can do as well.

Sweet

Welcome to the ’Ville to these two. Hopefully they bring some nice chemistry up here.

This is great and all.

But losing a four star offensive lineman really hurts this team. We really needed some big players there. We have several receivers already.

What I don’t get is how Wilson said on his facebook page today he said Louisville and then signed with UCF. I mean, WTF? Why would you do that? I don’t even remember UCF being in the picture for this guy.

It just boggles the mind.

I think this guy is going to be a carbon copy....

of former Louisville wide receiver Harry Douglass…. great route runner and very dependable on 3rd down siuations…… great pick up

Small chance

ESPN has him going to UCF

ESPNU reporting Wilson to Louisville

Weirdest note in this whole story: Wilson reportedly signed with UCF this morning, but his Facebook picture (I’m told) is of him in a Louisville jersey.

Demling said:
Four-star lineman Torrian Wilson, who on his facebook page said he wearing Louisville gear, signed with Central Florida. Chandler also announced for Central Florida.

How long has that been his facebook photo?

Maybe he just hasn’t changed it since changing his mind.

It is.

He’s wearing a number 76 Louisville jersey on his facebook profile. None of this makes any sense.

Even more crazy

Some people are saying now that he committed to USF, not UCF. At least
that would make a little more sense.

Wait a minute… You mean they’re not the same school?

He's just re-reporting everything else b

They’re saying over on the UCF blog that they never got the paperwork from him.

Either he has Chandler wrong

or he has scooped the whole world. Everyone else says Chandler signed with USF.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew

This was me sweating at a presentation an hour ago….not really me, but I’ve been really sweating past hour.

Exactly.

Everybody’s treating it like it’s fact, but until there are papers in hand I’ll wait and see.

Same here

I have a feeling this guy is trying to get the spotlight on him… trying to be “sneaky” and increase the drama. If he’s this much of a headcase, it’s either very funny to him, or he has a Derrick Caracter type personality.

His actions are making me kinda glad if he goes to UCF like announced.

Good get.

Apparently Torrian Wilson said UCF at a press conference, but still has not signed. UCF has not received a LOI and nobody in the athletic dept is confirming.

The story is that he’s got a kid on the way and he may be heading to UCF to stay close to home and raise his kid.

he'll turn into a Willie Williams...

and by Willie Williams I mean he will get busted driving around town, smoking herb and blaring music at 4 in the morning on Broadway

it's interesting

i heard a rumor that charlie strong had a no baby rule. wonder if that played into consideration

by Centre24 on Feb 3, 2010 1:48 PM EST reply actions

Some people are starting to say that.

Some have suggested that Strong may have told him to stay in Florida and take care of his family.
