Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Chris Wright is a confident young man

From the Georgetown point guard's Twitter account:

  1. Shootaround...man deez boys in for it...#yallaintfeelnme
  2. Good morning...feeln good feeln great, smh louisville in for it tonite...#wecomin

Translation: Wright believes strongly that Georgetown is going to win tonight's basketball game inside Freedom Hall.

For the record, Georgetown is 16-1 when Wright scores in double figures and 2-6 when he doesn't. Shutting him down would probably be the best move for all (good and just) parties involved.

Techically....

I think you could just somehow re-tweet/direct message them to the players?

I’m not 100% sure how the twitter works (smh)

Not sure if you reviewed the game thread....

..but “smh” became a meme that lasted slightly longer than “advantage!”

I think it has legs.

I am still pissed at Georgetown for beating us for the conference title in '08.

But for some reason, I didn’t realize it till just now. I hope our players are more pissed than I am.

I should also mention the Georgetown fan who kept yelling, "This isn't C-USA!" in the Verizon Center last year.

Yeah, and he knew that a Louisville fan was sitting two seats down from him. We were not in a packed area of the arena, and he seemed intent on being as obnoxious as possible throughout the game and talking as much smack as possible — he never let up on the “C-USA” comments. May he be unhappy again tonight.

Trust me,

we’re not as bad as Cuse, WVU, Pitt (etc) fans.

I believe it, but I'm trying to get pumped for the game tonight.

The obnoxious guy helps. I’m not trying to paint all G’town fans with that brush.

No Chris

We are feelin ya, but we just don’t believe ya. Also, these kids go to college, why do they spell everything wrong on purpose? I’m 22 and I’m already starting to sound like a cranky old man. No offense Frank/oldman

What about the college student/graduate

that still uses K’s for C’s and Z’s instead of S’s. I thought that officially became uncool in AOL chatrooms back in ’98 (not that I know…a friend told me…).

So YOU'RE Leigh334 15/f/KY ????

WTF? You said you would meet me at Jefferson Mall one Friday night back in ‘95. I spent 2 hours playing Hard Drivin’ inside Alladin’s Castle waiting for you…

Cranky old man?

No offense taken, you whippersnapper. But I have to admit that the twitter shorthand or whatever it is seems beyond my decoding abilities. That said, I hope we put it on Georgetown tonight because I’m going to miss my model railroad club meeting to watch the thing at home alone. That means I can yell as much as I want.
