Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Your Card Chronicle Connecticut Contest champion is...

IRISH2705

Four entries nailed 10 of the 13 answers correctly, so it came down to the tiebreaker. BSans did not give a tiebreaker answer (nice work), so by default he finishes fourth. NeverwrongPonchoWright was just five off on his guess of 156 and rhinogolfer1990 was even closer at 149, but both finish behind IRISH2705, who nailed the total number of points on the head at 151.

I didn't have the time or the technology to figure out who came in last, so we're just going to say it was Web and move on.

Special thanks to former NC State basketball superstar Chris McCoy for supplying the prize. You can read his blog, which has absolutely nothing to do with sports, right here

Congratulations again to IRISH2705. Your tickets, as well as an autographed wallet-size photo of me from 7th grade, will be in the mail shortly.

      Louisville
11. Will there be a technical foul in the game?
      No
12. Will Louisville’s leading rebounder have more or less than 10 rebounds?

I got 7

I think that’s respectable.

I was close

if Siva would’ve played one more minute I would have tied. I even had the tiebreaker right too. Damn the luck.

well if Siva had played one more minute

and Samardo had made one more basket, and UConn had blocked one more shot, and Marra had made one more three pointer, then I… oh, never mind.

If Smith had finished one more of those sick drives to the bucket,

he would have been the leading scorer, and I would owe zulu15 a chicken dinner. Thank God he didn’t – I can’t afford shit like that.

A little something for my troubles?

In belated exchange for the tickets can I request a signed 7th grade photo (wallet size) and for you to sign my pair of “Mike” shoes?

Damn

The E-bay bids for that photo were already in the pennies
