Samardo Solid (at the free throw line) Samuels
In some games this year I have heard some fans rumbling about how soft samardo samuels is and with him as our anchor we have a problem. But after a game were his stats (especially from the free throw line) read like a guy who could carry us into the tournament I have to give him a lot of credit. He basically took out 3-4 guys by being tough and not giving up (even with the turnovers).
*ON a smaller but still vital note the play of Jared Swopshire has been very vital not just this game but all season. He pretty much made plays from every spot on the court: rebounding CHECK, shooting the three CHECK, free throws CHECK, and etc.
Overall great game both teams played hard and didnt give up. I'm glad to see our time come out with the win though. GO CARDS!

I concur
Props to Mardo and yes, Swop. He has shaken the funk he’s been in and stepped up his game. So has Mike Marra. This is the team I wish we would’ve seen come alive in January. But, better late than never!

That is the Samardo we all expected to see from his high school accolades
He fouled out 4 people by himself. Props to ND for putting up one helluva effort w/out Godes and fouling every big man out. I would hate to see them in the BETourney.
