Around SBN: Ray Allen Fighting Age, Injury And His New Role

Luke Harangody doubtful for Wednesday night's game at Louisville

The following is what Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said about his superstar's status on Monday:

"I don't know if we can count on him for Louisville. He said he felt better, but he plays so darn hard that it's got to be right."

"He'll ride the bike today and maybe shoot tomorrow."

"The timing is tough," said Brey, whose team has road games left at Louisville, Georgetown and Marquette and home dates with Pittsburgh and UConn. "We’re fragile without Luke.

"We’re going to get him back, but will we get him back in time?"

It's probably more likely that Harangody sits out against Louisville and then has a week off before the Feb. 24 home game against Pittsburgh.

"I believe he'll be full-speed against Pittsburgh," Brey said.

While the Syracuse win certainly washed out the embarrassing loss to St. John's, falling at home to a 'gody-less Fighting Irish would greatly diminish Sunday's glory.

They're all big from here on out.

I have this sickening feeling in my stomach

that tells me Harangody is going to play in this game, drop 30 and 15 and be showered with obnoxious media praise for his toughness and grit. I think i might puke

My sickening feeling

is that he’ll be in street clothes, but they will play out of their minds and we’ll be flat.

Surely this won’t happen though, right?

My Opinion...

No ’gody = No way the Cards lose the game.

I hope I’m right.

the knee story is a cover-up

Harangody actually has a nasty infestation of Wacky Wall Walkers.
