I hope people at Texas A&M appreciate the offensive genius they hired as their "passing game coordinator." What the hell does that even mean? Isn't that just the quarterbacks coach? It always irked me that he had a passing game coordinator and a running game coordinator, as if they were two aspects of offensive football that couldn't be reconciled with each other under one coach

Probably a better fit for him

maybe he’ll actually be effective as passing game coordinator. Sounds like a lot less responsibility, and he probably won’t have to power to start book clubs.

That's hilarious!

A&M must crave a predictable, one-dimensional passing game. Best of luck, Guys.

Oh, and Krag — the team that Coach Strong has assembled is capable of winning 8 or 9 games next year, not the mediocrity you left in your wake.

Vegas

I need to find a Vegas book that takes over-under bets on college football. I could clean up taking the under on all the A&M games.

Wonder if they have any exotic bets like how many six yard passes are thrown on 3rd and eight? That could be even easier money.

I honestly wish him well.

I don’t like him, and he was a menace to our program, but I hope he and Cooper find a way to succeed.

And why people are still mad at Petrino, I’ll never understand. Sure, he had more than a few negative aspects, but the guy gave us the best football we’ve ever seen at this school. It’s no different than UK fans hating Pitino because he left for the Celtics and flirted with jobs before then.

Exactly

People in the Ville need to get off the ‘Hate Petrino’ bandwagon. I didn’t like the fact that he bolted for the Falcons (after he lied and said he was happy here), but that doesn’t change the fact that he put UofL football on the map. Netting Charlie Strong probably wouldn’t have been possible if Louisville hadn’t been in the Orange Bowl, showing the nation what this program is capable of. Thanks, Bobby.

If anyone has a right to be mad at the guy, it’s the Falcons’ fans. What he did here was shady, but he crapped right in that program’s face.

I always thought it was funny how John L., was able to come back but Petrino has never been forgiven by many.

They gone have to stop sleeping on me one day.. I gotta be one of the best

John L.

had to eat his fucking words (I wonder where he’s at on the food chain now).

One of the best sports days I ever had was the IU-MSU football game where IU (IU is said) DESTROYED MSU. I kept asking the MSU fans if they had buyer’s remorse, and told them I hope they fire him at halftime, as it would be fitting.

When Petrino eats his crow (and he will, his ego is the proverbial albatross around his neck), he’ll be forgiven as well.

Just because he came back......

…..doesn’t mean I or a lot of other people forgave him. I don’t blame him at all for going to Michigan State but I certainly cannot excuse the way he did it or the shots he took at the fans who were upset. And I know a lot of people who feel the same way.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless
