Your WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too early 2011 Louisville football schedule

Go to www.fbschedules.com to view next season's schedule.

After a freaking epic win over the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, our program is surely on the way back up. This is simply a WAAAAAAAAY too early prediction show (these are subject to change).

@North Carolina- Very tough to pick here. Our problem- freshman QB either way, very young offensive line, and a hostile environment. Not this time- LOSS

Murray State- Not much to say here, besides that this is definitely the game of the year- by far.~ WIN

@Kensucky-People, Kentucky is on the way down. They can play all the cupcakes they want, but they will never get 8 wins in the amazing SEC. We are headed up. Bridgewater/ Smith has two games of experience, and NO RANDALL COBB.-WIN

Marshall/FIU(H)- Two easy opponents from non-power conferences. I'll bet one of these is closer than we think it will be, but... -WINS

(The Big East schedule has not been set in any particular order yet, other than which teams we play @ home and which ones we play on the road.)

@Cincy-Defense has caught up since then. I see a blowout.-WIN

@WVU- Too tough environment, that team is too much for us.-LOSS(Sucks, I know)

@UConn- I'm sorry, but I always think UConn is always soooooo overrated. Maybe no Toddman. Especially if he leaves, than we should steal one.-WIN

@USF-Never won here before. That streak continues.-LOSS

Syracuse- Revenge for the shocker!-WIN

Rutgers- See Kentucky.-WIN

Pitt- We've gotta lose at home some time you know. Lewis and Sunseri will be better, along with a very good defense.- LOSS

So, these are some picks by simply eyeballing the schedule. What do you think our record next year will be?

Actually, I'm thinking 11-1 or 10-2

Don’t forget, though UofL will lose 22 seniors, many of their underclassmen saw significant playing time, not to mention the number of players who redshirted this year. I mean offensively, we’ll have the choice between D. Smith, T. Bridgewater, and P. Brown @ QB; J. Wright, Corvin Lamb & V. Anderson @ RB; Michael Lee Harris, Josh Chichester, Josh Bellamy, Antrell Smith, DeVante Parker & Eli Rogers @ WR; and a veteran offensive line.

Defensively, Jamaine Brooks (RS Freshman 300+ lbs), Jamon Brown (FR 300+ lbs), Greg Scruggs (SR), William Savoy (SR), BJ Butler (SO 4 star recruit) @ DL; Dexter Heyman (SR), Jordan Campbell (USC transfer) & Demar Dorsey (5 star recruit via Michigan) @ LB and a host of talent at Saftey and CB that’s either returning starters or are 4 star recruits or better. Then if you were able to pick up Lamar Dawson (LB) and steal Jon Davis from UK along with picking up the two Ole Miss decommits (4 star & 3 star) who have L’ville 1st on their list? Man, WE’LL BE LOADED!! Shucks should it go down like that, we have a shot @ going undefeated!

I don't see a lot of linemen on your list

Aren’t we graduating most of our offensive line?

We'll have to replace three starters

During the bowl game, Benavides and Kupper were both playing at the same time, so assuming Benavides stays at center and Kupper moves to guard, we’ll have to replace both tackles and one guard. I don’t think next year will be as big a step forward as some but I expect us to continue to improve.

Who saw a lot of time this year and was very good

Offensive Linemen

John Clark (SR 300+ lbs)
Nick Egart (SR 300+ lbs)
Hector Hernandez (6’ 5" SR 280+ lbs)
Ryan Kessling (6’ 5" SR 300+ lbs)
Alex Kupper (JR 280+ lbs)
Jake Smith (6’ 4" SO 280+ lbs)
Zach Perkins (6’ 4" SO 300+ lbs)
Chris Walker (SO 300+ lbs)
Ryan Mack (3 star recruit 300+ lbs)
Chase Petersen (3 star recruit 280+ lbs)

Don’t know about you…but I think we’ll be OK on O-Line.

Forgot about him

Add him to the list! I honestly think UofL has a legit shot at 12-0 or 11-1…IF…IF…IF the recruiting plays out like I pointed out previously and Jordan Campbell and Demar Dorsey are on the field next year.
