Final Beef Bowl Post: PREDICTION TIME

On the first day of Beef, HCCS gave to me: a beef helmet in a glass case! On Beef Night Eve, I am excited by the Teddy Bridgewater commitment, and the fact that Titus Teagueshowed us moves that would make people other than football players disintegrate if viewed in person, there is still football to be played. I will not be giving any reasons for my predictions, just look at my " Why UL/Southern Miss Will Win" Posts. But, before I do make the predictions, I just want to say that I am proud of these players for just getting here, for playing so much higher than their so called ceiling. This team was supposed to win 3-4 games this season. I especially am putting emphasis on my MOY 2nd place vote Bilal Powelland our Fantabulous D. You guys will be remembered for getting a great era started with our first bowl bid since the Kragthorpian era.

Here goes nothing. I am 1-1 on predictions, picking us to beat Rutgers.

Southern Mississippi: 24

Louisville: 27

Burke plays well enough to win, Powell breaks the rushing record (100+ yards) and Chris Philpott hits a field goal with time winding down.
