Get Eli Manning off my screen
Mike, I don't know if you can do anything about this, but are you aware of the annoying Samsung Next Level Flash ad that sits on this page right on top of the navigation bar? It's incredibly annoying. Is there anything you can do about this?

Looks like a screw-up
That ad is supposed to be (and is) in the sidebar on the right, and a banner ad is supposed to go at the top. But it sure is annoying, inasmuch as it blocks the nav bar and part of the top headline.
"Screech, you CAN'T elope!"
"Who are you calling a cantaloupe, you melonhead?"
Step 1) Use Firefox
Step 2) Get “Ad-Block Plus” add on
Step 3) Profit

I do use Firefox on Windows with ABP.
On my Mac, I use Safari or Chrome because Firefox gets choked on heavy flash sites. I use ClicktoFlash in Safari, so I don’t actually see the ad unless I click it, but I still get a grey flash-blocking box over the middle of the screen.
OK, so how do you install ClicktoFlash?
I downloaded it but the install fails. From my everyday account it says it can’t write the receipt; from my admin account it says it can’t write to /tmp. In neither case does the installer prompt me to authenticate.
"Screech, you CAN'T elope!"
"Who are you calling a cantaloupe, you melonhead?"
Google Chrome, in my opinion,
is the best browser there is. Very neat and clean. Very fast. And it has tons of Ad-ons like “Ad-Block Plus”.

Until I open up a new tab
And there are little windows open of the past 8 things I’ve surfed… what if I wanted to do something nice for the wife, and she sees that tab? Or if I wanted to check out a porn site? LoL
Seriously tho, they need to have the option to disable that in a new tab. If they do, I can’t find the option.
Safari goes you one better
it has Private Browsing mode, which leaves no trace in History, Top Sites, cache, or anywhere else (cookies, anyone?) of where you’ve been.
"Screech, you CAN'T elope!"
"Who are you calling a cantaloupe, you melonhead?"
no such thing as private
My class in computer forensics this semester proves it… but yeah, it’s hidden from normal users.
Well, if those are your sites of interest,
you can click on the wrench on the far right and go to an “incognito window”. No history at all will be recorded.
Also, when you open up a new tab and see all those boxes, if you hover over on the top right of the group of boxes, you can click an “x” and it all disappears. Chrome is very customizable.

Must have missed that one
Thanks… getting used to several other browsers and OS’s (via VirtualBox) the past week or so. I normally just use Firefox or IE.
