What Bowl Should the Cards Play In?

Ahh... the smell of scarlet knights being ran over by Bilal Powell. Amazing. The truly amazing HCCS has taken good (ex Brandon Heath) but poorly developed players and made them into winners. I am truly proud of the football team, win or lose at the next bowl game. But wati! We have no idea what bowl we will be playing in. Which bowl proves the best for us? The guy who is a horse and pig at the same time investigates.

Beef O'Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl

In my opinion, by far the best available bowl to go to. There is nice weather to travel. Fans who are roadtripping can have many things to do before and after the game. Charlie gets to go back to Florida (I guess that's a plus). But the kicker is this: we can really make an impact in the most fertile recruiting ground in all of college football, Florida. We already have a pipeline there, and if these kids see us, and we win, we score big on recruits.

BBVA Compass Bowl

This is an interesting bowl. First we have a possible rematch with Kentucky. Probably not going to happen, but it could. More importantly, we can really evaluate the program and how good it is. We would probably face off against a Georgia or Tennessee caliber schoool. It would be cool to see our D against teams from the mighty SEC. Much tougher than most Big East teams.

Little Caeser's Bowl

Ugh... Anything but THIS. We would pretty much play Northern Illinois. That, and the fact that we play UNI, and that it is the day after Christmas, and Papa J, would cut us completely, and that is in a place where it would be cold for roadtrippers does not sound fun.

Vegas Bowl

This could alllow us in, with the Pac-10 probably not getting enough teams. Not much to say here, other than the fact that it would be cool to get revenge on Utah.

I'm just excited to be going to a bowl, and say what bowl you think we will go to, or which one of these is best.
