On Powell's Special Season

 
The Face of the Program. I thought,"You've got to be kidding me. Over Vic?" Wow. I truly think Powell is one of the best running backs we've ever had.

Better than Mike Bush.

Document it. Yup, I think so. Well, the early season, uninjured BPow was. Just look. CHECK THAT! After coming to my senses, he is SECOND to Mike Bush. Have a nice day.

Anyway, he should be recognized in some way(IF he breaks the rushing record). I don't care if the rest of the team is suckish compared to him. We have never had a running back that could do these things. He singlehandedly has MADE this offense. Sure, I must give tons of credit as well to our experienced o-line, they have been great. Burke has screwed us out of a couple of wins (USF and WVU). We have Abe, we win. Powell has a shot at setting the single-season rushing record if we win on Friday, which I am 99.99 sure we will. Just thought that I would say that he is truly special, and he has started what will probably be a great line of RBs (Powell, Anderson, Wright, Giles, etc.). IF he does not hurt his knee vs Pitt, he racks up about 300 more yards. EXAMPLE: at the very beginning of the WVU game, there was an obvious hole in the defense. Early season, he hits it and is gone; post knee problems, he gets CAUGHT FROM BEHIND.

Anyway, great season so far and I can't wait to see how he does in the bowl soon.
