Kentucky Mr. Basketball favorite Chane Behanan will be a Louisville Cardinal.

The 6-foot-8 MVP of prestigious National Basketball Players Association top-100 became the first U of L commitment to sign with the program when he did so earlier today.

As for the crown jewel of Rick Pitino's 2011 class, Chicago star Wayne Blackshear claims he will put all rumors of his wavering to bed when he signs with Louisville on Thursday.

"I told people where I was going and I never wavered," Blackshear told The Courier-Journal. "I knew from the beginning I wanted to be a Louisville Cardinal. A lot of people thought I was going to decommit because of where my friends were going. But I never thought about that.

"Now, once I sign on the dotted line it will make it real."

Louisville is also expected to sign J'Town center Zach Price and New York forward Angel Nunez. Price is expected to sign with the Cardinals at 6 p.m. tonight.
