Louisville head coach Charlie Strong said today at his weekly press conference that running back Bilal Powell has swelling around his right knee and "will be evaluated day-to-day, week-to-week."
He added that redshirt freshman Jeremy Wright and senior Blayne Donnell can expect to be utilized a lot against Syracuse on Saturday.
"Those are the two running backs that we ended up with (against Pitt) so they’re going to get a chance to play a lot on Saturday," Strong said.
Strong said Victor Anderson, who has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury, will be evaluated later in the week.
