….awesome game all around. Memphis is terrible, but still is good to dominate anyone, especially an old hated rival, like that.

I don’t care who you are or who they are. scoring 56 points on a team you also shut out is damned impressive. you can’t find too many d1-a that can say they did what we dropped on Memphis state today.

Defense
I really love how this defense has got no quit in it. Now that the offense is a dual threat, I now believe our defense will keep us in most BE games. I honestly believe anything from 4-3 to 6-1 is feasible. The strides these guys are making since the UK game are just amazing.
thats why i think uk and louisville should always play
the 3rd game of their schedule .. let both teams get some reps in vs other teams

I can see that, but i like the unpredictability of having the game the first week of the season. I’ll always be excited to watch us play UK, but it just feels even more so the first week.

Mid air shoulder bumping
I noticed three times a player coming off the field and doing a mid air shoulder bump with one of the COACHING STAFF. Just a slight diference in enthusiasm from the last three years.
additional difference
this year, unlike last year (if it had occurred last year), the players need to be careful the coaches don’t hurt them.
