Bilal Powell scored twice, Chi caught a post route touchdown and the defense forced multiple turnovers. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough tonight, not when we gave a 4th quarter specialist like Collaros 8 seconds to distribute the ball to his receivers again and again and again and again...and then again. Momentum-killing penalties didn't help nor did our kicking game.
Even in a losing effort, the up-ticking progress of this football program was evident tonight. Time to look forward to UCONN next weekend.
