Anthony Mason Jr., the leading scorer for St. John's two seasons ago, will make his season debut on Saturday when the Red Storm faces Louisville. In his last game against Louisville, a ten-point loss in Jan. of 2007, Mason Jr. scorched the Cards for 29 points. He dropped 19 against U of L the year before.
St. John's will also welcome the return of starting point guard Malik Boothe, who missed the Johnnies' loss to Providence after suffering a groin injury in the first half of the game before against Georgetown. He's averaging just over five points and two assissts a contest.
The game tips at noon on Saturday and will be carried by WHAS.
