Blackshear's father: "nothing has changed at all"

Jody Demling: clutch.

But Blackshear's father, Kevin Thomas, said the stories are not true.

"Nothing has changed at all," Thomas said. "We were surprised when we saw the story because we don't know where it came from. Nothing has changed."

The 6-foot-5 Blackshear still has another year of high school basketball and won't be able to sign a letter-of-intent until next November. But his father said his son is still "excited" to become a part of the Cardinals' program.

Soft, strong, firm, excited; the jokes write themselves...but are far too creepy to ever be written or said.

Thanks for staying on board, Wayne. Feel free to comment during your free period.
