We're gonna lose tonight

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we're going to lose tonight, and there is nothing that we can to about it.

I have a friend who is a walking jinx to the University of Lousville Sports programs.  He is a lifelong Card fan, relative of numerous football letterman, and med school graduate.  He moved to Philly 3 yrs ago and lives in Boston now.  But try as he might he is a cursed jinx.  Basically here is how the jinx works.  He shows up at a U of L road game...the Cards lose.

I've been friends with this guy for over a decade and at first I thought it was just a coincidence, but no as the years have gone on time and time again, the jinx has held true. 

Let me run down the list of his "accomplishments"

2005 Final Four vs. Illinois - blah

2005 Football @ WVU - Slaton/White Breakout

2005 Gator Bowl vs. VaTech - Vick Stomps on Dumervil

2006 Football @ Rutgers - Jeremy Ito FG game

2007 Football @ UConn - the Larry Taylor Game

2008 BBall @ GTown - defacto BE regular season championship

2009 Football @ UConn

Again, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but he just informed me a few hours agothat he's heading to the Providence game tonight and will be sitting somewhere behind our bench.  We can only pray that his car breaks down on the way.
