2008-2009 Big East Players in the NBA
I'm sure most everyone on this site knows this list, but I just wanted to highlight that there are 10 players from last year's Big East conference who are contributing in the NBA this year. It underscores the impressiveness of UofL's regular season and tournament championships. In particular, I wasn't aware of this, but AJ Price is contributing at a high level for the Pacers.
Here's the list:
1. Terrence Williams (Nets / Louisville)
2. Earl Clark (Suns / Louisville)
3. Dante Cunningham (Blazers / Villanova)
4. Jonny Flynn (Timberwolves / Syracuse)
5. Dajuan Summers (Pistons / Georgetown)
6. Wesley Matthews (Jazz / Marquette)
7. Sam Young (Grizzlies / Pittsburgh)
8. Dejuan Blair (Spurs / Pittsburgh)
9. AJ Price (Pacers / UConn)
10. Hasheem Thabeet (Grizzlies / UConn)
Pretty impressive.

Whoa…I didn’t do that, but the site automatically put links on the player names. Pretty cool.
I wonder why there's no link for Blair?
He was my favorite non-Cardinal in the BE last year, probably because he provided my favorite non-Cardinal moment – tossing Hasheem Thabeet to the floor. After the Pitt-UConn game he called his battle with Thabeet “Celebrity Death Match II.” That was my favorite non-Cardinal quote of the year!
