Governor's Cup open thread image vote-off

After reviewing each and every one of the numerous submissions, I've narrowed the field to four. Thanks to the many who participated in what will surely end up being the most important process in all of our lives.

Some people felt Almost Snapping Eric Wood deserved another chance, you know, since he hasn't actually lost. So the incumbent is finalist #1.

Finalist No.2: Actively Smooching Cardinal Bird.

No. 3, and the apparent favorite: Pipe-Smoking Schnelly.

And finally, fully embracing the randomness that it may take to pull this one out: Milk Chug.

The voting ends at midnight on Friday...or the last time I check the site before I fall asleep.

The fate of French Polynesia and the U of L football program rests in the balance.

It’s not your fault….it’s not your fault….look at me….it’s not your fault………it’s not your fault.

Milk Chug

Looks like a good spot for this game. Nothing too serious, and kind of laughable, like our past seasons.

Maybe a Schnelly of this compelling nature should be saved for a greater moment

Like—a better chance at victory. Schnell deserves better!

Milk Chug—he happy, he no care, no matter waaaa.

Schnelly

I voted for him for a couple reasons. One, if we somehow manage to pull this game out, we have discovered a talisman of unlimited potential. Second, if we lose, his picture reminds us of where Cardinal football once was, and what it can be again with the right man in charge.

Finally, he’s just a badass and there can be no argument. Maybe some of that pipe-smoking badassery can rub off on Krag.

Honorable mention: hot hot’s “I wear it in my pants because it is awesome, get your head in the game” picture which had me literally lol’ing.

Your compelling logic has won me over

I too spit coffee when I saw Hot Hot’s K pic

Chug is brilliant

Is it sad that I was cracking up as I posted the K pic?

If pipe smoking Howard was posted the same

day as the Inside the NFL ads, I don’t know if I could have visited this site again. It would have been too intense

I voted for Howard.

I mean, the guy can speak French… in Russian.

I wanted to vote for Schnelly,

but I had to vote for the smooch. That’s a very lovely girl in the photo, and I hope she brings us luck. By the way, where can I sign up to be the Cardinal mascot?
