You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. It's like a carousel. You put the quarter in, you get on the horse, it goes up and down, and around. Circular, circle. Feel it. Go with the flow.

Oh Nastalgia!!!!

It’s nice to see some of our favorite players playing on Sunday and Monday. Michael Bush is still a beast. I saw Eric Wood throw a nice block earlier tonight. Gay with the Steelers. Just to name a few.

I'm buying a new house and dedicating a room to louisville....and the tennessee titans.

Speaking of Bush

Do you guys think he’ll get more touches than Darren McFadden?

I dont think so

best thing that could happen for Bush is a trade. Theyre not using him anywhere close to his potential..

by twistedwedge on Sep 14, 2009 10:48 PM EDT up reply actions

No

They pay McFadden way too much money to not use him, plus did you see some of the carry’s he had last night? Most of them were not good but when he has some room the kid can fly for a big guy. Same can be said for Bush, who i think is the better RB becasue he gets extra 2-3 yards from just leaning forward after a tackle.

But since this is his last year under contract they will probably use him a little more than last couple years so they can trade him at the end of the year. I don’t think they can afford to keep him, plus they have some good rookies as well. I hope he just gets on a team that will atleast use him as a main back-up and not just sit on the bench most of the time, cause he is good.

Bush is the real Louisville star

I find it funny that Michael Bush, who is much more accomplished as a pro and just as accomplished as a Louisville college and high school player as Brian Brohm, gets very little attention in the local media when it comes to his career. I love both of these guys but lets give some attention to Michael Bush who is a real pro player. Lets also not forget Kerry Rhodes has become one of the best safeties in the game..

How come

all the videos/photos concerning the UL/UK ftball have been from 4-5 years ago? Seems like everyone on this blog is living in the past.

lol

Are you the pot or kettle??…pUKe fans are completely consumed with the past…all those “championships” won back in the 40’s&50’s in basketball

by twistedwedge on Sep 15, 2009 9:20 AM EDT up reply actions

Or 96 and 98.

I’m no UK fan, but I’m not delusional. They were a fairly good team within the past decade (if you’ll remember they were ranked #1 when we beat them back in 2003 (or 2004?)).

Still, your point is very valid. UK fans consistently live in what used to be, especially in basketball. This guy’s statement is almost as funny and ironic as his handle.

The days

of UL dominating the gridiron part of the UK/UL rivalry are over. UL fans seem to be having trouble accepting that.

by uk_cantbestopped on Sep 15, 2009 9:54 AM EDT reply actions

R U kidding??? What we have trouble "accepting" is an inept Koach.

And the fact we have so far dominated in the series…. well, that is simple reality

Go back to reading your clippings from the 40’s— since the mid-sixties with Unseld, Louisville’s record in BBall is just as good as UK’s and we have dominated the Football series to date.

by frankpos on Sep 15, 2009 10:07 AM EDT up reply actions

Since the mid 60's...

who’s won more titles, played in more final 4’s, has more NCAA tourney appearances, has more conference championships, etc etc etc etc…Basically who has the most wins in College B-Ball right now? Nuff said.

Dominated the football series to date? Not so sure about that…UK leads the overall ftball series 12-9. Keep drinkin’ that Kool-Aid brother.

How did you do in bball do last year? Or the year before that?

I thought so. And you have three 6 win seasons in a row in fball, and you’re running your mouth? Been to 3 crappy bowls? How many BCS bowls have you been in? How many have you won? ZERO ZERO ZERO. It’s been a decade since the Ville has had a rough patch in fball. We’ll be back, and back to crushing your little blue pussycats.

Go Cards!

since the mid 60's

UK has had a whopping ONE more title AND Final Four than UL does. Get over yourself, troll.

by twistedwedge on Sep 15, 2009 2:41 PM EDT up reply actions

UK only has the lead because they won the first 6 leading up to 1924.

Since the series restarted 1994, UL owns the series 9-6.

You were saying?

I *hated* that Bush broke his leg against us

He was a one-of-a-kind talent, and I enjoyed watching him run (against teams other than my own).
