THOUGHTS
--The starting lineup on Saturdays last season often appeared much differernt than the depth chart released the previous Monday, so by no means is this a concrete list of who the first 22 to see the field this season will be. Still, it's fun to talk about.
--My surprise continues over the fact that Byron Stingily has overtaken Jeff Adams at left tackle. Heading into the season, Adams seemed like one of the five Cardinals most likely to garner an All-Conference nod.
--Really glad that Trent Guy is listed first on both kick and punt returns. One of the most overlooked aspects of last season was how explosive he was on special teams during the few periods of time when he was completely healthy.
--I still want to see Jacques Caldwell run with the ball at some point.
--I now own a Zack Stoudt/Titus Teague jersey.
--Is Nate Nord hurt? If not, I'm amazed that there are three tight ends on the roster out-performing him.
--The Rock Keys playing alert level will almost certainly reach an all-time high in five days.
--A part of me takes comfort in the fact that an angry cry of "Bobby!" directed towards the secondary is still a possibility.
--I'll be surprised if Thompson and Raglin don't end up spending a significant amount of time on the field together.
--Goettsche some.
