He said exactly what he needed to and more. I haven’t seen or heard a more straight forward, honest, and sincere apology from a public figure regarding a personal/moral transgression.
I was worried, thinking it would be a resignation or worse, but I actually felt better about things after watching that.
I realize I’m watching it through cardinal-tinted glasses, but so what.

he said what needed to be said, and I believe him.
