PrintCal-Stat Fullerton hurler Daniel Renken surrendered just three hits, but he could have allowed far more and still com away victorious as the second-seeded Titans pounded Cardinal pitching for 12 runs en route to a 12-0 victory in game one for the Super Regional.
Renken, who had never thrown a complete game shutout before Friday night, struck out ten Louisville batters and threw just 98 total pitches.
Now facing elimination, Dan McDonnell will send ace lefty Justin Marks (11-2) to the bump to face Zoe Ramirez (8-1) today at 5 p.m. (ESPN).
Maybe we'll shelve the open thread this time.

Marks: not good so far
UL down early, 0-5 to Cal State, bottom of 2nd inning (UL at bat).
Marks does have 4 strikeout so far….it’s those pesky earned runs that are killing him.
