About once a month I find myself reading an entire comment thread on the sports section of the CJ site.

It is absolutely painful.

I’ve been on TCP and ITV’s public boards before, but the Courier really brings out the worst of them, from both sides.

It makes me understand why people give me an odd look when I say I’m from Kentucky.

I’m going to go ahead and have to…agree with you on that one. Seems like a large percentage of CJ’s online readership were sadly “left behind” by the KY public school system.

it is VERY painful...

No matter whether you’re a Louisville or Kentucky fan, the CJ comment section is just painful to read. The yapping back and forth with the world’s worst typing skills is simply too tiresome.

Being exiled here to the hinterlands of central Ohio, I used to get on the CJ website religiously during basketball and football seasons. Thank heavens I’ve found Card Chronicle instead!
