Cards fall to Notre Dame, rematch at 5 p.m.

Centerfielder A.J. Pollock went 4-for-5 as Notre Dame broke a tie game with three runs in the top of the ninth and held off a late Louisville rally for a 6-5 win Saturday in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Baseball Championship at Bright House Field. The win for Notre Dame (36-22) sets up a rematch with Louisville (42-15) at 5 p.m. Saturday, with a spot in the championship game at stake. The championship game has been rescheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m.
