The show, which stars Michael Irvin, features a dozen ex-college stars - six wide receivers and six defensive back - competing for one spot on the Dallas Cowboys' 80-man training roster. A player will be cut each week before the last man standing gets his big shot at the NFL.

The show debuts at 10 p.m. on Monday, May 18.

Here's a preview clip of the show courtesy of Spike:

Best of luck to Montrell.

Is that...

…picture from like a video game or something? For some reason I can’t seem to recall the day, season or era from which that image purports to represent. Strange.

Best of luck to Montrell. I expect a weekly re-cap of the show on this blog. Thanks.

I have no idea what you are talking about....

It looks like we are scoring a “touchdown” there – and the crowd looks happy. That must be a video game.

He must be running backwards to field a punt within the 5-yards line.

Because there is no way that #14 could have a WR that open and then hit him in stride as well.

Hunter’s first TD pass…I was there and quite happy.

True Story

While sitting out in 2003 after transferring from Tenn, Montrell played a couple of games for a fraternity (I believe it was Lambda Chi Alpha) in the UofL fraternity flag football league. They were pretty tough.
