Has Siva's stock fallen on Scout.com/Rivals.com this year?
Am I making this up? Seems like his his stock has fallen over the past year, yet he keeps making All-American lists like this. I’m no expert on recruiting—I wouldn’t even quaify as a novice—so perhaps I’m “mis-remembering” that he was higher last year on these websites than right now.
I realize these websites typically put more weight on “upside” than current performance but I definitely thought Siva’s “rating” or “grade” was much higher than Tyler’s on most sites, which is what triggered this thought/post.

Rivals has Siva as #49 Overall for the class of 2009
They actually list Rakeem Buckles as higher than Siva at #40 overall. However, the rankings haven’t been adjusted since August 2008, so I expect Siva to move up significantly in the next set of rankings.
Tyler is ranked #9 overall in the class of 2010, and is considered one of the top prospects across the board. That’s probably how he received 2nd team over Siva.

after actually spending 5 minutes researching this topic
I see now that Tyler is ranked very high in his class and Siva is ranked high in his Position not overall. This is probably what I was remembering from last Fall, the last time I checked recruiting websites. So…I suppose that regular fans pay a chunk of money to subscribe to sites like that? Interesting…
