Long story…..used to be a fan of both but not a fan of any team right now…waiting for a team to give me a look……..lol. IMO UK sports is ran by lexington millionaires whose got folks on a string like a puppet. Went south on UL when Pitino was hired and then EVERYONE who hated him all of a sudden Loved him and thinks he’s it……couldnt handle that, so now i hate em both.

MSU making me feel better
I sort of wanted UConn to win a tight one, so MSU could legitimize our loss but the Big East could still win. Instead, MSU decided to take it a bit further.

Makes me feel a lot better, MSU is a very good team. I’m hoping Nova goes all the way – that would legitimize our BE championship since we went 2-0 against them. If UConn had won it all, some people would say our championship was tarnished.
And folks, cheer up. Yeah it stings to lose, but we had a helluva run. We won the regular season and tournament titles in the toughest conference in the country, maybe the toughest conference in history… we got our first-ever #1 ranking in the AP poll… and we made the Elite Eight. Hoping for more? Of course we were. But damn, we had a good run.

At the very least, they could have mentioned it
I mean, what’s the incentive for any fan to vote on this award in the future? At least break down the criteria. Disappointing.
Good move by the NCAA....
…to put each student section behind the basket. Creates a better collegiate atmosphere. Wish they would have done this for the regional.

Well...
Most teams in the sweet sixteen and elite eight doesn’t mean much if you can’t even get one team to the championship.
And Hansbrough won the CLASS award? Color me not surprised, although I find it ridiculous that the guy that had triple the fan votes of any other contestant doesn’t win. But whatever. Let UNC circle jerk the rest of the season and get it over with. I’m not even watching the Final Four or Championship. Don’t really care to see either of the teams that are left win it all.

IMO the numbers defend themselves
(the big 12 is the next “best” thing at 11-6.)
Ive read countless posts elsewhere about how the “Big Ten” is so great because of Michigan St…one team doesnt make a conference.
