Random thought: Remember how our Big East championship was downplayed because we didn't have to go through Pitt and UConn? I must have missed the announcers talk about how UNC's championship has an asterisk because they didn't have to play Pitt (Nova) or UConn (MSU).

ah, but you have forgotten -
UNC was SUPPOSED to win the title, no matter who they played. They were annointed.
They couldn’t even win the ACC. They were knocked by that ACC powerhouse … Florida State.
I’m just glad the last team to beat the Tar Heels was my Noles.
