Damn Mike Marra is tatted up, and damn Rakeem Buckles is not swayed by peer pressure.

For some reason, I was thinking that Rakeem was bigger – not height-wise, but weight. Anyway, if Marra is the shooter that Coach thinks he is and will become, watch out. You also get the impression that Siva is going to push Edgar hard for the point starting job.

I’m still in a funk over the Eilte Eight.

He’ll regret that one in a couple of years.

LOL

Doesn’t it look like Siva has a hair scrunchie around his left wrist?

Nice oop...

…Siva to Buckles.

Hopefully see that combo a few times in the next couple of years. Buckles needs to put on some weight but I imagine he will under Pitino.

talked to marra tonight...

he looks a little devendorf like… but he is a very humble kid…

he dont even talk with all the slang that he would look like he would…

very nice to fans after the classic…

if Siva stays all 4 years, he mat be loved more than T-Will… he has that kind of personality…

buckles will be decent… he will be a better george goode….

van treese might see the court his jr year… if he stays…

better George Goode?

But we don’t know yet how goode George can be. (Couldn’t resist.) Seriously, I thought GG had a couple of great showings around turn of year, then coach disappeared him. ???

From the C-J:

bq.Siva was the first to try the most ambitious dunk, to the delight of the current U of L players assembled at midcourt. He had Sosa lob the ball from the bleachers. The ball bounced too high on the first attempt, so Siva waited to catch it and dunk it the second time around.

bq.“It was my idea,” Siva said. “I wanted to show everyone we’re going to be good teammates next year, but the ball was too bouncy.”

That last quote pretty much sums up Sosa’s relationship with UL basketball as a whole.
