Please God make Lunardi right

I've never said that before. Probably never say it again.

Lunardi's most recent bracketology has moved the cards to a 1 seed, alongside UNC, Pitt & Uconn. I don't see it happening. But hopefully I'm wrong. And if that isn't sweet enough we have Memphis in our bracket.

At first glance this is a best case scenario. I might pick   8&9 seeds that aren't Utah and BC, but that's just quibbling. West Virginia and UT are in there too. Don't really need to see a Huggins team a 3rd time and UT has some dangerous (if underachieving) team. But again, that's minor stuff, we could get to the final four without seeing UNC, Pitt or UConn. Which is sweet.

#1 Seed

… strikes me as imminently do-able. Oklahoma is over-rated, plain and simple. Memphis STILL hasn’t beat anyone of count and lost to Syracuse and Georgetown. No one would argue with NC, Pitt, U Conn and Louisville as the one seeds except Big 12 chumps.

Stop stealing my lines

I think that last #1 seed is between Louisville and Michigan State. Eric, you are right that MSU doesn’t get mentioned a lot, but they have a solid resume and I definitely think they deserve to be in the conversation. Izzo is a helluva coach.

Everyone knows memphis is garbage. If they do end up getting a 1 seed, let’s just hope the cards get in the same bracket.

And while I appreciate your respect of UT’s team and acknowledgement of their potential to make a run. I can assure that it just isn’t happening. Louisville beat the crap of out of UT last year in the tournament. Louisville is better now than they were last year. Tennessee is worse now than they were last year. Conclusion: Louisville would wipe the floor with Tennessee.
