Louisville tops No. 1 Maryland to reach first Final Four
Major, major congratulations to Jeff Walz and the Louisville women's team for toppling Maryland tonight and reaching the Final Four for the first time in program history.
Angel (only name needed) scored a game-high 21 points and snagged 13 rebounds as the Cards pounded the top-seeded Terps 77-60 in the Raleigh Regional final.
Louisville moves on to face the winner of tonight's Oklahoma/Purdue game Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. in St. Louis.
While we're all still stinging from the men's loss yesterday, what the women have been able to accomplish over the past four months demands our attention and respect. They've more than earned their moment in the sun.
Go Cards.

i was flippin back and forth with another channel and didn’t get to see the interview but the people from espn made it seem as though angel called out the espn analyst (cara lawson?)… and id love to see it

Angel definitely called her out.
Does anyone know what Kara Lawson said that would’ve upset Angel?

No respect...not giving the lady cards any chance to win the game

I don't understand
She was saying they didn’t have a chance to win their next game? Or was she trying to play it off like they barely won?

on previewing the matchup
she gave louisville zero chance against maryland-basically saying there is no way the lady cards could do it

there is nothing i would rather see at this point
than to see the lady cards give UConn a surprise thumping even bigger than the one the guys didn’t get a chance to

Sure, Jurich is a great AD
but there’s no overlooking the mistake he made with the football program. Everyone makes mistakes; and he’s one of the best ADs in the country, no doubt. But his mistake was a big one, and he shouldn’t get a free ride because of it.
The one thing we have to look forward to this football season, it would seem, is the knowledge that surely to heave it will be Kragthorpe’s last.

Making a mistake...
is indeed forgivable. Not correcting it is the issue most Card football fans have with Jurich on this matter. I sincerely hope you’re correct that this is Kragthorpe’s last season… regardless of results.

Congratulations to our Ladies...
did anybody else watch the Oklahoma vs Purdue game? That 6’4" center is the most amazing player I’ve see in a long while (sorry Angel). She is on Oklahoma’s team – she got 46 points and was totally unstoppable. I’m hoping (since U of L plays them Sunday) that she just had one of those games and that she won’t be as hot on Sunday. Great win for our Cards….hope they get past Oklahoma.
