Kragthorpe: no QB favorite yet
With five players competing for the job, Kragthorpe said, "It's great for our football team to see these guys battle, scratch and claw."
The team has five spring practices in the books and 10 to go. The five QB candidates are junior Tyler Wolfe, junior and North Carolina State transfer Justin Burke, junior-college transfer Adam Froman, redshirt freshman Zack Stoudt and redshirt freshman walk-on Will Stein.
All five saw action at U of L's most recent practice Tuesday, but nobody seemed to jump out. Kragthorpe said it's still premature to handicap the race.
So you're telling me that Preston Knowles isn't the favorite to win the starting quarterback job, because unless he is, I really don't wanna hear about it.
