I think that it doesn't apply to the tournament since the tourney isn't on ESPN.
Either way, there are a lot of announcers that go all over. Rafterty for instance does stuff for ESPN, CBS, and Raycom I think.

sometimes i wish we recruited more in state....
but there are so many good out of state players that are better.
Kentucky is kinda like Texas
In Texas if you don’t play Football you’re not a man. In Kentucky if you don’t play BB you’re…well…not from Kentucky. (Sorry, couldn’t find a apprpriate comparison…it’s late and I’m buzzed).
You know if Western had been down by 9 at the half...
…I probably would have gone to bed. But since they are up by 9 I am now obligated, as a true college basketball fan, to watch until they either win or lose. I hope they win BIG and early. But a win of any type would be OK.
As a Card fan I have mixed feelings about UCLA
Love Denny and John Wooden…and the fact that we beat them 1980. Hate everything else.

Illinois really did run into the same Western KY team that beat the Cards
Doesn’t matter what Illinois does, Western is going to win.
I didn't even watch the final game that year
because I couldn’t cheer for Illinois or North Carolina
To be fair, tt wasn't just that
I was a student, fortunate enough to get student tickets for the Final Four. I went there with friends and drove back to Louisville the night we lost. I had planned on returning to St. Louis for the championship game or else I would have sold my ticket there. Later I didn’t want to make that drive again, and I didn’t care for the teams involved.

I would think that CBS wouldn’t have a problem like that, but I couldn’t see how it could be my TV either.
It does it on SD too.
All CBS sports broadcasts do it. They have all year. It’s a real PITA to be honest.

This WKU game is BS.
Two bad calls in a row. Of course, they’re not doing themselves any favors with all the turnovers.

They wasted too much time on that last possession, didn’t leave time for a rebound. Too bad, they were THAT cose.
At least WKU gave me my 12-5 upset. Toppers played a great game and then hung on after nearly blowing it in the last few minutes.
