ESPN
Give me a friggn break..
OK...so we are TWO plus hours removed from the Cards winning what is undeniably the best conference in the nation...twice, and what does the "worldwide leader in sports" have on their front page? "UNC loses" as the headline, with "UNC loses" and "Michigan St loses" as the sideline headlines...Even Memphis St gets love on the sideline headlines...ZERO mention of Louisville, the only team to win the outright title of all the power conferences....(we do get a Big East tournament tab underneath..but its vague as to what it alludes to)
Im sorry, but this is getting kind of old...really old.

the main espn page was updated instantly after the game
I think that the UNC loss is more of a newsworthy event for hardcore college bball fans that would check the mens bball page…but espn gave UL their props on the main page and that’s more important.
IMO it’s a sign of respect when you win your conference tourney and it’s not more newsworthy than the #1 team losing to Florida State.

Hey Twist
I had on the CBS Seeding Show with Greg Gumbal.
I have been familiar with this guy for at least twenty years, and unbelieveably, he has not yet said one interesting thing. I’m not talkin’ profound here, just interesting. In twenty years!
He had Memphis’s Cal on, clad in strange black attire, looking like a captain in Godfather VIII who had just made his nut, and kept tossing these lob balls at him. For cryin’ out loud, Greg, you’re supposed to be a journalist.
And between he and Seth, they were strangely delighted to speak with Cal, as if they were sitting bare-assed on a pile of feathers…
Mercy.
Hope your picks do well.
