Haircut Apology
So, we have moved past the haircut and the MSG curse. I am listening to Queen "We are the Champions" while typing this. What an amazing run in Madison Square Gardens. And although I'm sure there will be plenty of people talking about how we had it easy in the second half after Syracuse ran out of gas at the 15 minute mark, its still a testment to this team how well they played under pressure. This team has consistantly played above their expectations. I often find myself listening to the four-letter network reporters like Jay Bilas and Doug Gottlieb and Digger Phelps talking about Andre McGee, Jerry Smith, and Samardo Samuels like they are playing above their potential. I truly believe that these players have realized their talent and are showing what good coaching (thank you Pitino(s) et al) can do to elevate a good team to an elite team with the right coaching staff.
This should be the best NCAA tournament we have seen in two decades. Go CARDS!

Totally Agree
Except I can’t help but feel like, with the exception of Bilas, everyone else is just now coming around to LVL only because the UNCs, UConns, OKs, and Pitts are falling. Until this week, none of the “experts” believed we deserved to be considered for a #1 seed, an honor Jay Bilas and any halfway intelligent person has recognized since the end of January.

Bilas Has Come A Ways
…and leave it to him to notice that in the ’Nova game, for a period of about two minutes, Andre, a less than six foot guard, dominated the game while playing defense.

Good One Noon
But I’m not sure I’m comfortable having Freddy Mercury lead us into battle. What next, The Indian from The Village People?!!
