So if you asked me about 10 minutes ago who plays on this year's basketball team, I would have replied with Terrence Williams, Andre McGee, Will Scott, Jerry Smith, Edgar Sosa, Earl Clark, Preston Knowles, Samardo Samuels, Terrence Jennings, Kyle Kuric, Reggie Delk, George Goode, Jared Swopshire, and the oh-so-lovable Lee Steiden. Apparently, I would have been wrong....
The Cardinal roster also includes a certain Christopher Brickley, a 6'-4" Junior guard out of Manchester, N.H. According to ESPN's stats (although even THEY don't list him on UofL's current roster), Chris has played in a whopping 1 game this year during which he recorded a steal. That game? Providence, 2 days ago.
Pretty decent article on Wikipedia about Mr. Brickley if you're interested, though it says he was supposed to redshirt this season. Which brings up the question: If this kid is such a shooting stud, why burn a redshirt on a couple of minutes in a game that, in my opinion, was already well in hand? That is, of course, assuming the website of the "World Wide Leader in Sports" is correct *scoff*.
One way or the other, am I the only one who was totally clueless as to the existence of this guy?
