Like my chain-smoking Aunt Wanda always said, if you're down in the dumps, might as well wallow in it for a while. To that end, here's a football related link. me, too

After reading this, I get the creepy feeling that Syracuse is going to win the Big East next year. If that happens, I think we can look at this disturbing post as the first omen. It sems Orange fans are tired of lossing. Sick and tired. They’ve been at it longer than us, and there is a lot of bottled up rage that is dying to get out and tear up this conference. …or maybe i’m reading too much into a cartoony post that’s meant to be funny?

And if we only had players and a coach...

… we would have done it years ago. Like, just after Miami left, even (no one else ever beat us consistently in the Old Big East). We may have a coach now, and some of your recruits, but winning more games than we lose… that’s crazy talk.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
